Friday, January 17, 2003, 8:00 PM. A Concert for Peace, Music of War and Peace from the Renaissance. Performed by the Forces of Virtue Ensemble and Choir on original instruments, with guest Najib Bahri, singer and percussion. Featuring selections from the L'Homme arme (The Armed Man) and Da Pacem masses by Josquin des Pres. At Unity Temple, 875 Lake Street, Oak Park, Illinois. Free to the public, no tickets required. All free-will donations (Jan. 19) will benefit charities devoted to disaster relief.
